Therapy is a relationship we both choose.
Individual therapy sessions with me are a safe space to examine behavioral and relational patterns that no longer serve you, process their function, and find and practice reasonable alternatives that will get your needs met in your current life.
I utilize an eclectic mix of interventions tailored to client needs.
Among the theories by which I conceptualize clients: attachment, psychodynamic, and somatic.
Interventions I use are informed by the following: acceptance and commitment, bibliotherapy, cognitive behavioral, insight-oriented, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, self-compassion, solutions-focused, somatic and trauma informed.
I have specialized training in Intuitive Eating, Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping), and Perinatal Mental Health (including fertility concerns, birth trauma and miscarriage and other loss).
